A technology project that overran in terms of both cost and time and failed to deliver promised information and performance benefits prompted the charity to engage with H3. We facilitated the senior management team through a decision on a new partner and defining the future vision; giving them confidence in the outcome and advising throughout the programme on process design, contract and project management and risk management.

European Car Plant, Manufacturing ERP, IFS

In order to maximise the potential benefit of moving from legacy systems the business need to undertake significant process change across the planning functions. We facilitated the design of new planning and material control processes, developed new business rules and configured the software parameters and reports to support the design. During implementation we supported the planners and shop floor users in adoption of the new processes and demonstrated to senior management the power of the available information. This work combined with the existing manufacturing technology and lean thinking has moved the performance of the plant in one of the leading plants worldwide.

Sports Car Manufacturer, £200 million, Engineering/manufacturing ERP, IFS

Legacy systems installed during the Y2K era were not supporting the business well and in fact the business was managed on spreadsheets. Firstly we helped senior management to define the future vision based on re-designed business processes in both engineering and car manufacturing; we then further developed their thinking to embrace the upstream benefits of the change. We then supported the project team to configure the software and data to utilise the features of the system. This included project-based ERP and ‘configure to order’ capabilities.

Oil and Gas Construction Company, 8 billion Euros, IFS

Needing to provide an integrated solution to global ERP requirements we are engaged in the support of the definition of a core solution and individual ERP implementations for the different operating companies worldwide.  Our scope is to provide best practice advice in line with the technology capability and a number of change management skills including communications, mentoring change teams and developing implementation business cases.
